The materials and supplies on the list that I am requesting for my students already have a"home". In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We need your help to get it through our door! In our class, we meet in the front of the classroom to have gatherings, mini lessons, and share time. The papers, books, markers, crayons, and other supplies will be used by the students. The students may create books, projects, or book reports throughout the day. This will be located in the back of the classroom. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts that reflect discussion that we have during our mini lessons. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of authentic, meaningful writing. By doing this, we will implement a Writer's Workshop. My students will see themselves as authentic writers or authors and illustrators. We will use the materials in the process of life-long learners of writers. As a teacher, I have research reading and writing helps students to become better literacy learners. Therefore, I need your support to make this a reality! Thank you!
