I'm moving from a 1-to-1 district to a district that has very little technology. I am highly trained to use a wide variety of technology and I would like to continue using what I know to teach.
Young students gain a lot of skills using technology on a day to day basis. It also acts as a great way to motivate students and can be used as a positive reward. There are many fantastic apps available that go hand in hand with our math and literacy curriculum and will give students an extra push if they need one. iPads also give students with special needs a chance to communicate and learn in various ways as well.
