Having a few area rugs in my classroom will allow my students to utilize the best option of flexible seating that they are given. During whole group learning and also during small groups my students will be allowed the option to sit on a rug while being engaged on the lesson. The storage bins will help them keep their things all together since they will not have a desk to keep their things organized. Since I am stepping away from the traditional classroom desks in a classroom my students are in need of individual book bins so that they can store all there books that would normally be in a classroom.
If I want my kids to be self-motivated and engaged I need to find different options for them to meet every students needs. In order to do this I am changing my classroom to a have a more "flexible" feel to it.
