Many of my students do not have access to technology at home, so they are excited to use computers at school. However, as kindergarteners, they benefit from hands on activities. Osmo combines the excitement of technology with an experiential aspect.
With Osmo, students can work with letters and numbers, but they can also be creative with Monster and Masterpiece. Students can work on traditional math and reading skills in a small group during daily centers. The activities can be used to help struggling students improve or to challenge advanced students. Games like Monster foster creativity while encouraging good listening skills.
