My students are intelligent, hard-working 9-12 graders. They have hopes and dreams like all other students of their age, but the deck is stacked against them in terms of achieving those dreams. Most students in our classroom are at least one year behind grade level in credit, and many are 4-6 years behind grade level in their math skills.
Each day in our classroom, students work hard aware of the challenges they face and determined to meet our class goals of: 1) Mastering every objective (80% or higher!), 2) Getting the highest scores in our district and 3) Setting up for success in future math classes and beyond high school.
About my class
