All of my kindergarten students deserve to have their classroom be a place that they can feel safe and learn. Every child is important. The best learning will take place when their needs are met. Little five and six-year-olds are required to go to school and learn all day much like seventeen and eighteen-year-olds. Their minds and bodies were meant to move, and they will learn and do their best work when this can happen.
I would love to give these children options to allow them to move and learn at the same time. These Wobble Chairs would help the kindergarteners move while still working on reading, writing, math, and other activities. The floor table would allow students to sit on the floor if they need to instead of always being expected to sit at their desk. Many of my students are diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. I also have students entering my classroom at the age of 4. Sitting in a chair all day is not appropriate for these children. They learn best when they can move and have a chance to be in different places throughout the day. The addition of these few items in my classroom would help all learners reach their full potential. I hope you would help make their learning experience the best it can be! Thank you!
