As educators it is our job to prepare our students for the the 21st century and help develop and foster skills they will utilize in their future career fields. Coding is one of the best ways to help prepare students for the future because its applications are many. Through coding they improve and develop skills in math, writing, communication, as well as focus and organization. The Ozobots Classroom Kit is a wonderful way to introduce my students to coding and STEAM+ activities and get them to develop these skills and more in a fun and engaging way! STEM+ – increases retention in art, history, theater and more subjects beyond STEM. It is my hope that through this project I can open up a world of possibilities and learning for my students.
