These activities will allow my students to learn through hands on exploration, allow for sensory exploration, and allow them to learn basic skills through the use of their hands and continue to work on their fine motor control skills. Some of the items I am looking into getting for my students include gel sensory bags, beanbags, and fine motor activities that connect to their learning. For example, tactile letter, cvc dice/activities, addition and subtraction fine motor activities are just some examples. My students learn best and retain information best when they are working with their hands and they are envied in the task. Sequencing stories through the use of visuals and being able to use their hands is great for them.
