Every classroom in America is generally the same in this day and time. We all have poverty students on one end of the spectrum with those whose parents jet set around the country and have little time to work with their child/children. We have an before school/after school program where students are dropped off at 6 AM and picked up at 6 PM. Our school has CDC classes and also has SPED pull out program, as well as inclusion. There are speech teachers, sign language and Braille assistance daily available. One on one assistants are part of some students day. The need is great at our school just as it is every where else in America. Our youth needs teachers (like me) who are willing to give of their time to find resources that will help fill those gaps in learning. They also need DONORS who join teachers/schools make it happen!
