My last Donor’s Choose project allowed me to get a reading nook for my high school classroom.
After seeing how positively my students responded to the nook I am hoping to expand into the classroom library. I buy YA novels on my own and every time I bring a new book to school it is checked out within the first day. I love bringing diverse material to my small school and I am hoping to continue providing my kids with eye-opening materials. Unfortunately, I cannot keep buying books everytime I go to Target. This selection is small, but I think the content of the books will help my kids see outside of their small town.
