In this project I am asking for a projector for my classroom. My school does not have technology available for all teachers and as a new teacher I am unsure if my students and I will be fortunate enough to have a projector this year. Rather than take a chance on my students education, I am hoping that through this project I will be sure that we will have technology for the 2018-2019 school year and years to come. The project will allow me to present and show videos to my AP World History and US History students and give me the chance to fully explore the Google Suite for Education with my students. This year our district in going google and as part of that I want my students to be using all of the google tools, included google slides. Having a projector in my class will allow my students to present their projects to the class, giving them practice for the presentations they will be expected to give in college and the working world. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home, so it is vital that they learn these technology based skills in school. These students are ambitious, intelligent and motivated, all they need now is access to the resources that will propel them into their future.
