Children with exceptionalities struggle to connect with the typical curriculum. They need to be able to use all of their five senses to understand the concept that is being taught that day. Using a multisensory approach with my students would greatly improve their ability to focus. Through the use of flex seating, sensory table, feelings chart, and various learning tiles my students will be more successful at gaining growth. As a Special Education Teacher, I am not allotted the funds to purchase supplies for my classroom like General Education. Donors Choose is such a blessing. to my students and myself. We will appreciate anything. Every student can learn. Just not on the same day and in not in the same way.
