I have worked so hard over the years to make sure my students have everything they need to be successful. The last items I need are a classroom rug and seat backs. The great thing about this project is these items will last me years! The current rug I have is a remnant from a carpet store, has stains all over it, and only fits 15 students. I prefer to teach all my lessons on the carpet because I believe it better suits the needs of 2nd grade students and allows an atmosphere of conversation. By funding this rug, you’re helping me make sure all of my students can sit and learn together. The current seatbacks I have in my classroom are pillow cases. The pillow cases constantly fall off, which means the students have to take time out of their task and their learning to constantly fix them and their materials inside them. By funding these seatbacks, students would be able to use all their learning time to focus on the task at hand instead of worrying about their belongings. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. You will never know how much I truly appreciate it, as I’m sure my students for years to come will as well.
