Making learning a fun and positive experience is critical to student engagement! iPads would be used in our classroom as an influential tool in inspiring a lifelong love of learning starting as early as Kindergarten. In literacy centers, we would use apps for phonics, word recall and building words. This will enhance expressive and receptive language skills for ESL students, and all learners. The possibilities for creative projects and activities involving the iPad are endless. For example, I would implement a digital storytelling project where students read a story and then come up with their own version of that story. When using the iPads, there will be the option for students to play in groups, allowing students to work on skills such as collaboration, and critical thinking. Lastly, the iPads will give my students the opportunity to experience more advanced differentiated, and individualized instruction!
