I co-teach in a classroom with a dedicated teacher. We have 25 students who are each unique with all-too-frequent changing behaviors and moods throughout the day. The students have strong personalities and are verbally outspoken. The best part of the student's day is during our literacy center time. During this period, the students take ownership and responsibility by visiting and learning independently one of the many learning stations around the classroom. Our centers feature hands-on activities that reinforce concepts and themes taught in the classroom while meeting the needs of each student through differentiated instruction.
