The Orff instrument stands would make it easier for students to quickly move our Orff instruments (xylophones, metallaphones, and glockenspiels) where they are needed and place them at a height that is comfortable for playing. More time would be available for making music--less time wasted on set up. The instruments make beautiful music and are an incredible resource for teaching and reinforcing important music concepts for the students. We want the students to be able to utilize these instruments to their fullest: exploring beat, rhythm, playing in ensembles with ostinatos, and improvising their own original music.
These stands would make all the difference when we use the Orff instruments for performances for assemblies or concerts. Again, being able to move them quickly and keep them at the appropriate height would be an amazing asset. This is a resource that will last for many years to come!
