Using computers in the classroom should be a daily part of every student's life. My students currently have one computer in the classroom to share, making any significant computer use impractical to say the least. I am asking for help to purchase ten Chromebooks.
These computers will be an integral part of the rigorous learning students will do to collaborate, research, create, critique, and reflect on the projects they complete as part of their Project-Based Learning curriculum. I plan to have students use online reading tools such as NewsELA, Readworks, and Raz-Kids in conjunction with various Google Apps to create various projects that will have them apply learning in engaging and meaningful ways.
