Dry-erase boards with markers and erasers will greatly enhance my students' learning by providing them with daily interactive and engaging activities. Currently, my students are using sleeve protectors with colored construction paper in them, markers that easily dry out, and tissues as erasers. The sleeve protectors easily wrinkle, the markers easily dry out, and the tissues are not meant for this purpose. This is not sustainable!
These boards will last longer and give my students access to more hands-on opportunities and eventually higher achievement!
With these boards and markers, my students will feel more in charge of their learning. They will begin to take more responsibility for their learning as the markers and boards will make them feel like teachers themselves. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
