My students will benefit from these books because I plan on implementing guided reading in small groups. Students will also be able to read independently with books that are on their level. When students have books on their level, they are engaged in learning. I plan on meeting the need of each student with their reading level in small groups to teach a daily lesson. These lessons will teach them vocabulary, sight words, phonics, book/picture walks, comprehension, fluency and writing skills. Students will also have a variety of books to pick from that interest them. It is so important to have a variety of books that they enjoy.
