I am excited to use these ipads in my room to implement a variety of reading activities! Students will be able to read books, listen to books, and record themselves reading books! They will use programs such as Reading A-Z, ebooks, and Readers Theater! It is important to engage students in their learning. Phonics is a huge part of First grade and there are several phonics apps that are engaging and interactive. First grade is a year for making sure students love, live, breathe--and start to really read great books! I want to instill a love of reading from the very beginning!

About my class
