My school is a high-poverty school set in a small mill village. A large number of our students are multi-generational families who have called this town home for many years. Grandparents have become parents to their grandchildren while mobile devices have become babysitters. Lack of exercise and increased time in a digital world has contributed to kids inability to control their body or stay focused.
