As the school year approaches, I am thinking of ways to help my students learn about and with technology. My classroom would love iPads for center rotations. Center rotations involve several different interactive learning opportunities. I would love to add iPads to the learning. We would also use them for interactive science activities such as Google World and simulations. I could use the iPads for fact fluency. There are several fact fluency apps to help learning math facts feel fun. As well as learning math facts, they could also use the iPad to learn sight words that are crucial to their futures as readers. I would also use the iPads for See Saw. This app allows students to record themselves talking about their leaning and show off their projects for parent and teacher viewing. It also helps them learn how to create an online portfolio. In today's ever advancing, world technology is in the forefront of all jobs. Using iPads on a regular basis in several different ways, will help to prepare my students for their future careers.
