When students explore and experiment they have a meaningful way to connect to their learning. The curiosity cube will present different science and social studies concepts in an inviting and exciting new way! I will place different objects in the acrylic curiosity cube each week that will introduce new units of study to the class! Students will question and be questioned using different writing prompts, illustrations, experiments and creative tasks about our new learning topics! Some weeks will include planting and dissecting plant parts to show how living things work together, mapping our neighborhood to learn our cardinal directions, experimenting with light to learn about the transparent, opaque, and translucent delivery of light, and seasonal weather patterns that involve the sun and moon! I’m curious and so are kids, the curiosity cube is going to be a great addition to our learning space and inspire our future scientist and leaders!
