"Learning is loud" is a quote that I did not want to be used to describe my classroom, However, my students have totally changed my mindset. It now brings me great joy as I hear them squirming with excitement to answer questions or to be a team leader. Their infectious laughs and chattering during group time sends the warmth of love throughout the classroom. I never have to ask for a volunteer or helper as they are all always ready and eager to give a hand.
I do not teach these students , we teach each other.
They show me daily regardless of your circumstances you can do great things with the right attitude. They show me to appreciate the small things. They are teaching me how to try even when I feel I can not. These students desire to be appreciated, be involved, be taught, be heard, and be loved. So, I consider it a privilege to play a vital role in molding these great minds.
