During reading, math and intervention workshop times, students are assigned to various independent, partner and small group stations designed to provide either remediation or enrichment learning opportunities for each child's specific areas of need. Some of these stations require students to listen and respond to a learning activity on an iPad app. The same goes for the online district assessments that all of our children take.
Having access to quality, dependable headphones for each child in class is a definite key to success when using technology in classroom. Headphones promote concentration not only for the students using the headphones but, also, for those nearby who would have otherwise been distracted by the sound of the online activity.
