My Third grade students come from povert. As a second year teacher I have very little resources and my Third graders deserve better than the supplies I can provide for them. I am trying to create an interactive classroom that provides students with the resources needed to build a better future for themselves and our society.
Supplies like dry erase circles, flexible seating, post-its, organization cubbies and craft utensils will allow my students to practice skills using all types of learning techniques.
The dry erase circles and flexible seating will allow my students to move around and discuss their ideas with one another. This will help them grow their social skills, group work skills, and help them build acceptance for other people's opinions. The post-its will be used daily as a quick way for students to write down their thoughts and post them for the class to see. The organizational cubbies will hold students responsible for their own success. They will use the cubbies to collect work they missed, turn in projects and find inspiration through their classmates work. Lastly, the craft utensils will allow the students to express their thoughts and creativity in their own individual way.
All donations are very much appreciated. The smallest gift from you can make the biggest impression on the students' lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, your contribution means the world to us.
