My students will be using National Geographic for kids in the classroom. I would like to provide more non-fiction, high interest books for kids. I need to update my classroom library with current text, with bright pictures, & real photos. These books will engage students in reading!
In 2nd grade, students learn about non-fiction writing, text features, & this will help them translate their reading to their writing.
Students will be reading nonfiction books and using it in their research projects and writing. This project will help so many of my students who don't have reading material at their grade level.
