Creating podcasts in my classroom will be very beneficial to my students. Podcasts have a variety of classroom benefits. Students will be working on strengthening skills in research, writing, collaboration, presentation, planning, deeper knowledge on materials, and many more. Students will be using the recording materials to create different podcasts on math, science, social studies, and language arts topics. My students will benefit by becoming proficient enough on topics that they can share them with the world. When you can teach material you know the material.Podcasts also allow students to share opinions on topics and take ownership for their ideas. We will be having debates using podcasts, ads to express designs that they have engineered, and having discussions on topics that are relevant to my kids. In order to be successful students need to feel that their thoughts and opinions are valued.
