My students are kindergarten and first grade special education students. They are just learning problem-solving strategies, social skills, and developing their fine motor skills. Therefore, they need Legos, Magnatiles, and Construction Engineering materials in order to develop these skills.
By being able to manipulate, build, and collaborate with classmates, my students will learn various problem-solving strategies and social skills that are necessary to be a productive member of society and their fine-motor skills will be developed and enhanced.
Some of my students do not have access to these types of manipulatives and learning experiences. These materials will address several modalities of learning.
