By providing our classroom with 3 Chromebooks, students will not only be able to use a multitude of online resources to enhance their learning, but they will engage in interactive lessons and prepare them for an increasingly digital workforce.
In today's age, computer literacy is an integral component of a student's learning plan. The chromebooks will serve as a gateway to unprecedented access of resources and information.
With the use of Chromebooks, students will be able to delve into topics of their own interests and create presentations based on their own research. In doing so, they will be intrinsically motivated and become more independent learners, furthermore, preparing themselves for the middle school years. In addition, my IEP, ELL, and Newcomer students will be able to listen to books and articles on audio to support reading comprehension. They will also be able to use speech to text to compose writing assignments and then upload them to the Google classroom for publishing. These are just a few ways that Chromebooks can be used in the classroom. The possibilities are truly endless!
