These Fire tablets will make a difference in my students' learning by allowing them to be fully engaged in the technology of our 21st-century classroom. These tablets will only be used at school. My classroom was recently granted a Promethean ActivPanel, which has opened so many doors for the technology I can bring to my students' hands. Students will be able to display their screens on the panel, participate in digital surveys, quizzes, and many other formative assessments. Students will have access to our new reading curriculum, Benchmark Advance, through these tablets as well. They can access hands-on interactive lessons during center and group work. They can research projects, go on virtual field trips, and explore many parts of the world from their classroom desk. They will have access to an unlimited number of digital books, articles, and information that can put tools in their toolboxes to be used for the rest of their lives.
I want to help my students reach all of their goals in life by preparing them with the knowledge they need to be successful.
