These reading book bags will help my students by allowing them to take their learning home with them. The book bags will keep their take-home readers, and reading logs in a safe place. The bags are durable, and keep books safe on their transit from home to school. This allows kids to have access to reading materials at home.
Many of my students can't afford or just don't have access to books that they can read on their level at home. For instance, when I ask a student why they haven't been reading or completing their reading log they tell me they just don't have any books at home they can read. They will also say their parents won't take them to the library to check out books.
