The classroom rug will be used as a place for the class to gather for morning meetings and whole group mini lessons. It is also a place for us to collaborate as a class and set classroom goals. It can also be used as a multiplication and division chart which will be a great visual in helping students form connections and see patterns in multiplication and division.
Building a positive classroom community is key to building confidence in learning. The classroom easel will be used for mini lessons for both whole group and small group lessons. It will be used to create anchor charts that will aid in student learning. The easel will provide a way to model different characteristics of learning and thinking which will allow students to form connections to each other and content.
