I have three fourth grade math classes with a total population of 50 - 60 scholars. The demographics of my students are African American, African, Hispanic, and Haitian. This group of technolgy savvy students is interested in learning mathematics in various ways. Many of my students, about 95%, come from economically disadvantaged one parent households. Although this is their background, they come to school happy and eager to learn and grow.
