How often do you use your iPhone? Your iPad? A computer? My AMAZING, creative, vivacious students need access to 21st century technology. My budding readers, artists, poets, graphic designers, computer engineers...they deserve more! With the addition of iPads into our classroom, we will be one of the only classrooms in the school that has access to such technology. My students will be able to access apps that reinforce skills and enable higher level learning. An iPad helps students who are kinesthetic and visual learners open up the doors of education and individualize their learning experiences. The iPad with a protective case and adapter will become a tool that will help create more authentic learning experiences in the classroom as well as build twenty first century skills that our children need in order to be successful in a quickly evolving technical world. My students will be able to work in centers with the iPads, writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working with math manipulatives and more. It is my job to engage and prepare my students for the learning and living environments that lay in wait for them; help me prepare these young learners with tools and experiences that they will continue to build on for a lifetime!
