Students thrive when they are part of a warm and welcoming community. We spend more time at school than we do at home, so these materials will help our classroom feel like home. Students will be able to choose their flexible seat that will help best foster their learning. We will also use the books to learn very important life lessons such as standing up for each other and ourselves, kindness, and how each and everyone one of us is a unique beautiful wonder. It is proven that student who feel comfortable and loved, and who have a choice in their learning will learn more in a shorter amount of time. My goal every year is not only to move students along academically, but to touch their lives and help them be the best person they can be in this community.
