This year I am teaching 10th and 12th grade English. I would like to use two class set novels for 10th grade and two class set novels for 12th grade. My intent is to educate my students about memoirs and history, fictional reading and current topics going on in today's society. The novels I have selected, "Night," "The Help," "The Hate U Give," and "A Wrinkle In Time" will help cover these areas in my classroom with all students.
These books will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them a chance to read, learn and apply the information they receive from these novels. I would like to see my students take the information and use it in their daily lives and daily decision making.
