Diverse literature is a way to affirm a student's identity and all of the rich cultural knowledge they bring to the table!
I will use these books as read-alouds, mentor texts, and to fill our classroom library. Literacy is the foundation to success, and these books will allow students to develop a passion for reading and learning.
