LEGO building sets will be used in my classroom for our Science Force and Motion Unit and Simple Machines. Students will benefit from these learning sets by building and experimenting all year. Students will build, model, share, and experiment throughout the year and build models to support their learning. LEGO building sets will impact my rural student's learning with hands-on, experimental, problem solving and life long learning opportunities throughout the whole year. Students will be able to learn by doing. They may work in groups, pairs, or individually and allow for individual creativity and uniqueness. These materials will change the way I teach math, STEM, science, art, and other areas in my classroom. LEGO building set will allow me as a teacher to use them in extension, re-teach, and small and whole group lessons. LEGO building sets will create a vision for my student's future beyond their farm and community.
