Demonstrating techniques and proper use of tools and materials in an Art room can be challenging when working with classes of up to thirty students. The Lumens Ladibug USB Document Camera will allow every student in the room to receive proper instruction without having to add transitions within class time. This will allow for a full range of understanding and also give me time to provide individualized attention to struggling students. The Picture/Perfect Best Light Boxes will help give that little boost to students who feel insecure about their drawing abilities. When the objective of the lesson is understanding of color, texture, or anything but drawing, there is no reason why a student should fall behind because of their fear of drawing. The light boxes are a wonderful support for those struggling students. By donating to this project, you will not only help keep my students engaged, you will also allow them to grasp the techniques necessary to build their confidence as young artists. My students are so eager to experiment with various materials, and they treat our art supplies with such respect. They deserve a rich creative experience. I want to give them the best tricks an art teacher can offer. Sometimes, teachers have to keep in mind what their goals really are for their students. My goal is not for everyone to make the same thing, but ultimately, for every student to be equipped with the skills and confidence to make something that is unique to them. These materials will help me deliver those skills and help build self-esteem in these young artists.
