FIRST robotics is the largest educational robotics challenge that young people can participate in. There is an entire range of programs from elementary students though high school. FLL (FIRST Lego League) is the program designed for middle school aged children. The program peaks with FRC (FIRST Robotics Challenge). This project will partner the successful FRC team 319 with a new group competing in FLL. This equipment, MINDSTORM EV3 is the base module used in the FLL competition. It is needed to allow the team to compete in the 2018/19 FLL competition, and for years beyond. We aim to inspire these young students to see how exciting the world of science and technology can be. We hope to aid in their future plans and lead them down the path of STEM.
