With these sensory materials, I will be able to use sensory items in my room for my students to utilize and help regulate their sensory needs. The flexible seating will give them different options to sit in, and other sensory items will help them to calm down or get sensory input when they need it. All of these items will be a great start on the sensory items I am lacking in my classroom. This is my second year teaching affective needs students, and I often find it difficult to get my students everything they need!
I’d be really excited to get these items in my classroom to utilize for sensory breaks!
