We all play, work and learn in different ways whether it’s sitting, standing, laying down, rocking, or bouncing we all have our own preference. My students are learning how to advocate for themselves in becoming independent learners. With the addition of stability balls and a standing desk to our learning environment, students in our room will be able to identify where they learn best. Not only will they be able to choose how they learn, but they will begin to understand and decide what works best for them to succeed. Ultimately, their identity as to where they learn best will stay with them throughout there educational career allowing them to become successful, independent learners.
