I want my students to feel prepared as soon as they walk into my classroom to know that they are supported in all endeavors. Many of my students come from low-income households and much of the funds for activities we do come directly from my pocket.
I want my students to have at least the basic materials to help facilitate success and foster life-long academic skills. The students will utilize their interactive science notebooks all year long. They will use the composition notebooks as notekeepers, lab manuals, bellringer journals everyday. The folders will be used as organizational tools to keep homework, and important handouts for the week in one place. The additional tools markers, color pencils, and pencils are just to get them started.
