These Chromebooks will be used daily in my classroom in multiple ways. Many of my students are English Language Learners, and they can benefit from using on-line programs to develop their language skills. Websites such as Lexia, Imagine Learning, and First In Math can be used by all students, regardless of skill level, to boost their reading and math abilities.
Chromebooks will allow my students to create projects and express their learning in a variety of interesting ways. They will be able to differentiate the way they show what they have learned through presentations, videos, and other multi-media displays. Students will also be able to use the Chromebooks to conduct research on any topic we learn about in class. They will be able to type the writing assignments they work so hard on.
I know my students will enjoy working on these Chromebooks more than I can even express here. Not only will they enhance their learning and creativity, these 21st century students will also gain a better understanding of and more experience with technology. They are the future! We have to give them the tools they need to be successful!
