I am a first-year teacher and really want to get my classroom ready for my first year of teaching. The things I chose for my classroom like a sharpener, dry erase folders, and seat pockets are all extremely important to keep a classroom running smoothly.
These recourses will allow students to complete everyday tasks within the classroom. Our classroom has very little storage place for students to keep their belongings. The seat pockets will allow students to keep their essential supplies within quick reach. A pencil sharpener will allow students to sharpen their pencils.
Because my students come from low-income homes, students cannot always afford the supplies we ask them to buy. By having these supplies in my classroom, students and families can worry about one less thing.
