My current rug is old and soiled. With a new rug, my students and I will feel more comfortable sitting on the rug to participate in Morning Meeting activities, listening to stories, Math and Language Arts games, Calendar Math activities, music, singing, and more. My students meet on the rug several times a day to participate in the learning activities listed above. In addition, the more natural color scheme of the rug will compliment the other warm and calming colors in the classroom.
In a time in the world when there is so much anxiety, my students deserve to learn in a classroom with calming tones that is inviting, safe, with clean materials to use.
About my class
