My students need folders, colored pencils, crayons, erasers, glue, colored paper, chart paper, and post-its in order to complete projects that I have planned for the upcoming school year. Throughout the year we will make poster projects and an interactive notebook on all of the different units. The students love creating their interactive notebooks on colorful paper and giving them their own unique touch with the crayons and colored pencils. They will use the scissors and glue in order to cut out their projects and enter them into their notebook. The posters that the students create using the poster paper, colored paper and post-its are great for the students who enjoy the hands on activities to keep them engaged.
These projects, especially the interactive notebooks, are projects completed throughout the year, and my classroom is low on supplies after last year. My students love creating these projects and they serves as great visuals that many of them benefit from to fully comprehend a lesson. These students will use their interactive notebooks to study for unit tests, as well as their final exam at the end of the year. My students are always very grateful for the supplies that are donated to them each year as it helps enrich their learning and allow for an engaging and fun school year!
