I would like to transform my classroom into a colorful and comfortable room where kids are encouraged so relax and read, have discussions with their peers and are able to move without creating distractions. Flexible seating allows for kids with attention struggles to move freely, opportunity to move to sections of the class for group projects and promotes reading by creating a comforting environment. Eventually I would love to have sections of the class where students can read independently and discuss with their peers in an environment that is comfortable and allows them to put down their walls and take academic risks. My goal is to create a warm, colorful and inviting space that the kids want to be in and will be willing to engage in classroom discussions and activities.
