My students love exploring using all their senses. Use of sensory items, such as, Kinetic Sand and the Find and Feel Sensory Tubs, make it fun for them to search and learn in a fun way, helping them with both fine motor skills and language.
Seating is also important in my classroom. My students will love the Quiet Time Privacy Cube. Children with autism like to have their own space, making them feel safe and secure.
For the past 3 years, I've used the Dot and Learn Markers throughout the year and it's time for some new ones! My students' faces light up when they see them.
My classroom is set up in zones, making it necessary to have several "fun" items in each area, keeping the students engaged.
